Tesla resolves lawsuit from Black worker claiming widespread harassment

A Black female personnel who made allegations against Tesla in Fremont California for inappropriate plantation related remarks in some meetings from managers in meetings sued the Fremont California site.

After the terms from the mediator in that racial discrimination court case between Pierce and Tesla Motors had been finalized and documented, Thursday in a joint court filing in San Francisco federal court, the case was finally over.

Because negotiations on their settlement terms continue, the parties have not disclosed pricing details in the document.

For the issue of the airplane flying 100 miles away, lawyers for Pierce and Tesla decided not to give the media the information about this issue. Musk is not a defendant.

She said bulls over men at the plant because, even in all areas of the workplace, workers bothered her particularly after a racial slur was drawn on bathroom walls, and treated her in an biased gender way.

The report suggests that other workers not of Black descent were able to avoid office penalties that she received.

The alleged complaint by Pierce touched on an employee at her production line who was taking temporary shifts in order to assert, ‘You need to talk to human resources staff about your supervisors getting the wrong information.

A report of both racial discrimination and harassment incidents have been reported at various times at the Fremont production facilities where Tesla operates.

While Tesla’s terms of the settlement in March 2024 with Owen Diaz, who claims the company disabled and harassed him on twitter in broad daylight, remains undisclosed, Diaz accepted a $3.2 million jury award. The second jury decided to give Diaz $137 million in 2021, but the judge intervened, suggested a settlement that he refused and then there was a retrial process.

Pierce v. A case in the Northern District of California U.S. District Court under case number 22-03177 is filed against the company named Tesla Inc etc.
