To expand its lending to small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Ireland and the UK, London-based revenue-based lending company 365 Finance raised a £150 million debt facility from Pollen Street Capital in February 2025. With 365 Finance’s recent expansion into the Irish market, this facility is a euro-denominated line to fund Irish SMEs. It is anticipated that the investment will enable more than £300 million of annual originations, on top of the company’s steady 50% rate of annual growth since 2020.

365 Finance was founded in 2014 and has originated more than £500 million in loans since, providing merchant cash advance products as an alternative to conventional bank lending. With the help of artificial intelligence, their flagship Rev&U platform streamlines and automates the underwriting process so that businesses can get funds within twenty-four hours of application. While SMEs in the Republic of Ireland can get loans between €10,000 and €250,000, the UK lender offers business loans between £10,000 and £500,000.

365 Finance and Pollen Street Capital have a long-term relationship that is supported by this latest facility. Having Kendal Capital head the equity round and Pollen Street Capital supply the debt facility, 365 Finance raised £55 million of debt and equity in January 2022. As of July 2023, the company’s funding to UK SMEs had increased 141% year on year, demonstrating its impressive growth. Besides, 365 Finance has also managed to increase its highest individual advance from £300,000 to £400,000 because of the increased funding ability.

The deal with Pollen Street Capital has been crucial in helping 365 Finance realize its vision of offering SMEs flexible finance opportunities, especially under challenging economic times. With the additional capital, 365 Finance will be in a stronger position to respond to increasing demand from SMEs in the UK and Ireland for alternative finance.

It was founded in 2013 as an independent alternative investment manager specializing in creating additional innovations for the business services, technology, and financial industries. Pollen Street has offices in London and New York and employs more than 70 professionals, overseeing more than £3 billion in assets in credit and private equity vehicles.

The partnership of 365 Finance with Pollen Street Capital provides the example of a strategic partnership aimed at lending its expertise in the sense of facilitating SMEs growth by providing innovative funding products flexible to address the emerging demands of companies playing in the new economic environment.
