Berlin-based startup Solda.AI has raised €4 million in seed funding, to accelerate the development of its AI-powered voice agents for the telesales market in order to take on a whole process of sales through the phone automagically. Accel and AltaIR Capital’s participation was an indication of investor trust in the AI attack arm of sales.
Solda.AI is founded in 2023 by Sergey Shalaev, an AI expert and the developers of autonomous voice agents, able to handle the whole telesales process, from the first contact to a successful deal, completely without any person intervention. AI Agents are quite capable of real time conversation, identifying user needs, handling objections, and completing transactions with a high degree of fluency. During peak periods, they can accept up to 100 simultaneous calls and like other such systems they have been designed to be almost undetectable as human callers, with a human detection rate of less than 1%.
The multi language support has become one of the flagship features of Solda.ai’s technology. They are five languages (English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese): accomplished in the agents. Their capability in this allows the company to provide to clients internationally in different markets and regions. According to Solda.AI, its AI sales technology estimated that its clients generated €7 million more revenue in 2024 itself, and plans to reach 30 million euros in 2025.
tbi Bank, Treatwell, InDrive, Plata Bank and Vivid Money are already in Solda.AI’s client base. Under current circumstances, the company’s AI agents are processing approximately 10,000 leads per day, doing what human sales teams do day in and day out; initial outreach, callbacks and follow up. They are agents that lower cost and complexity of telesales while tremendously increasing the efficiency and scalability.
New markets can be inserted as well as the technology works further to improve the voice agent technology that is funded by the fresh capital infusion, to further improve multilingual and emotional intelligence capabilities of the agent. This means that distributed team is spread across Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Munich, which is important when trying to establish itself in the markets in key European locations.
The global demand for such cost effective and scalable telesales solution is growing, which is why Solda.AI is charting its own course to being a worldwide player in the sales future. In the startup’s view, it is time to make it easier for businesses to convert leads into revenue, faster, more consistently and with fewer resources, while keeping the same human-like customer interaction experience in place through artificial intelligence.
